About Me
My name is Leigh and I am the proud owner of Leigh's Lovely Gift Baskets. I am a supplier of La Bella Baskets gift baskets, fresh flowers,candles, greeting cards, jewelry and personalized gifts for all occasions. In July 2010. I began searching for a business opportunity that allowed me to work from home and have the flexibility that I needed. I have been involved in direct sales with a variety of products or services since 1982 and I absolutely love meeting new people and finding or creating solutions to fit their needs and budgets.
I am an Interior Designer, parish pastor's wife for 32 years, and mother of four young adults. I volunteer regularly with my parish's various missions,
teach Sunday School, care for the altar linens and clergy vestments, serve parish meals, prepare meals for families with newborns, and coordinate special events at the church. My design projects include restoration of various rooms around the church properties, making custom wedding decorations for receptions, and assisting parish members and friends with their individual design needs.
As my boys were growing up, I volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America as a Cub Scout Den Leader from 2001- 2005, served on the Troop Commitee as Popcorn Kernel from 2005- 2012, and general service on the Troop Committee until Spring of 2013. I also volunteered concurrently as a Brownie Girl Scout and Junior Girl Scout Leader from 2000-2005 with my younger daughter. Working with youth has always been a rewarding experience, and I am glad to have been able to serve my community.
In June of 2011, I started my own cleaning business when my parish needed a new cleaning contractor. I am pleased to be able to care for a large and impressive 1927 Gothic cathedral . I love working from" home base" and being accessible to my family, parish and community as needs arise.
